Mary Doherty, LISW, Owner
Mary (she/her) started her journey as a teacher, which then lead to social work. She loves to work with all ages. Mary takes a strengths-based approach along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused therapy to help identify what works best for you in the moment and longer term. In her free time, Mary loves to spend time outside biking and walking.

Elise Hill, LMSW

Elise (she/her) recently graduated from The University of Iowa’s Master’s in Social Work Program. She loves to work with adolescents and the daily challenges that occur. Elise focuses on strengths-based approach while using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her French Bulldog and spending time outside.

Kaitlyn Danielson, LMSW

Kaitlyn (she/her) recently graduated from The University of Iowa’s Master’s in Social Work Program. She loves to work with young children and their caregivers, and families. Kaitlyn has many years of experience working with young children and families in a variety of different settings. Kaitlyn focuses on strengths-based approach while using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Peralta and Bessie, and watching the Iowa State Cyclones.

Meliha Cerimovic, LMSW

Meliha graduated from the University of Iowa with her Master’s in Social Work. She predominantly works with adults and loves to help individuals through relationship and life transitions. Meliha has experience working with immigrant populations and considers herself a bi-cultural therapist. She is fluent in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian. Meliha uses strengths-based and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients meet their goals. In her free time, Meliha loves to spend time with her son and go to yoga.

Breanna Helfrick, Clinical Intern

Breanna (she/her) is a former preschool teacher currently pursuing her Licensed Mental Health Counseling degree at the University of the Southwest. She is passionate about working with young children, combining her background in early childhood education with her commitment to supporting mental health and emotional development. In her free time, Breanna enjoys traveling and baking.
